John's Second Musky




Here is my oldest son, John, who caught his second musky ever, while on our trip to Eagle River in August. John was using an M & G spinnerbait and went into a turn at boatside on the start of the Figure 8 and there was a big boil on the surface. I yelled "Hot fish, Johnny! Keep Figure 8ing!" amd the 38 incher smacked him right at boatside and he held on for dear life and got a shower in the process! After a few jumps I got her in the net, and we released her after pictures! He also had a low 40's class fish eat his Super Topraider on an 8 a few nights earlier but didn't set the hook at all! He learned his lesson quickly however, and scored with this nice fish!
