January Musky from the Susquehanna River!




Here is a nice 43 inch musky I caught and released on January 13th, 2005 from the North Branch of the Susquehanna River on a jig while fishing with good friend, Ed Powell. This is the first ever musky I have caught in the month of January, since back in my home state of Wisconsin, the season was closed and we usually had at least a foot of ice that time of year! I just found out that this fish won the coveted "International Lunker of the Month" Award for Muskies, Inc. for the month of January.
